Sometimes, usually late at night, I find myself thinking about something bigger.

Not about getting the next job.
Not about the next project.
Not even about how much money I could make.

But about doing something that actually matters. Something for India.

I don't know exactly what that thing is yet. Maybe that's the frustrating part. Or maybe that's the exciting part.

India has no shortage of problems. Some are obvious. Some have become so normal that we barely notice them anymore. And I keep wondering if there is a problem somewhere that I could spend years trying to solve.

Not because someone told me to.
Not because it would look good on a résumé.
But because it would genuinely make a difference.

I've seen people do it, and it's incredibly inspiring. People who decided to take an unconventional path, bet years of their lives on an idea, and build something that eventually affected millions of people. Seeing people like Aravind Srinivas build ambitious things makes the idea feel a little less impossible.

Maybe that's what I want too.

I like building things. I like technology. I like the process of finding a problem, trying to solve it, getting it wrong, and trying again.

And honestly, there's a different kind of satisfaction when someone actually uses something you've built. At some point, it stops being just code sitting in a repository. Someone is using it. Someone's problem became slightly easier because you decided to spend your time working on it. That feeling is hard to explain.

Of course, money matters. I'd be lying if I said otherwise. It gives you freedom, helps you move faster, lets you build more, and takes care of plenty of material things in life. But I don't think I want money to be the entire destination. Maybe it can be a byproduct of building something worthwhile.

Because when I think about the things I'd be proud to look back on decades from now, I don't imagine a number in a bank account. I imagine being able to say:

We saw a problem. We decided to do something about it. And somehow, we made things better.

That's the bigger dream.

I don't know what it looks like yet. Maybe it's a company. Maybe it's a product. Maybe it's something completely different from anything I'm imagining right now.

But I know I want to keep looking. To keep asking: what next?

And maybe, someday, that question will lead me to something worth spending a big part of my life on.

If you're reading this and some part of you thinks the same way, don't be shy to reach out. Maybe we can build something together.
